Re-imagining Affordable Housing (RAH) is an effort to dramatically improve how we meet our housing needs in Seattle. Seattle already does an ok job building affordable housing, but we want to take this to the next level. RAH seeks to implement the Housing and Livability Agenda (HALA) recommendations in an integrated way along with additional ideas building from HALA.  

RAH is based on the following principles:

• More funding

• Improved design

• Family Zoning

Put together, Re-imagining Affordable Housing will allow us to build affordability and ensure that all our neighborhoods are welcoming communities for all.
